b'By now you\'ve heard about the Heartbleed "bug" that is able to use a vulnerability in an older version of OpenSSL to gain access to any number of supposedly secure communications from your computer to a server.\r\n\r\nWe have upgraded our install of openSSL as well as several other key pieces of software at Linuxtracker.org so we believe (according to everything we have read) that any hole on the server has been patched at this time. We also want to point out that we do not currently use ssl on the site, but we figured we\'d be better safe than sorry later on.\r\n\r\nStill, we would like to encourage everyone to login to the site and change/update your password. This can be done by logging in to the site and selecting the "My Panel" link under the main menu. From there, the link to change your password is on the left side of the screen.\r\n\r\nPlease choose something secure that you will rememeber and make sure to not share this password with anyone.\r\n'
