Site Rules
Keep LinuxTracker useful, safe, and focused on open-source distribution.
1. Keep uploads relevant
Content should be Linux distributions, BSD distributions, open-source operating systems, or closely related open-source software that is appropriate for distribution through BitTorrent.
2. Do not upload unlawful or unauthorized material
Do not use LinuxTracker to distribute material you do not have the right to share, malware, credential theft tools, or content intended to harm other users.
3. Describe releases accurately
Titles, descriptions, categories, screenshots, and release details should accurately represent the files being distributed. Do not deliberately mislabel torrents or manipulate tracker information.
4. Respect other users
Community features should be used constructively. Harassment, threats, spam, impersonation, and deliberate disruption are not acceptable.
5. Moderation decisions may protect the catalog
Moderators may correct metadata, remove torrents from public view, or otherwise act to keep the catalog accurate and appropriate. Reversible moderation is preferred where practical.
6. Do not abuse the service
Automated activity that degrades site or tracker availability, attempts to bypass security controls, or interferes with other users may be blocked.
