Emmabuntüs DE 3 is a desktop Linux distribution based on Debian 10 Xfce/LXQt. It strives to be beginner-friendly and reasonably light on resources so that it can be used on older computers. It also includes many modern features, such as large number of pre-configured programs for everyday use, dockbar for launching applications, easy installation of non-free software and media codecs, and quick setup through automated scripts. The distribution supports English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish languages.

On June 3rd 2020, the Emmabuntüs Collective is happy to announce the release of the new Emmabuntüs Debian Edition 3 1.03 (32 and 64 bits), based on Debian 10.6 Buster distribution and featuring the Xfce/LXQt desktop environment.


This Debian Edition 1.03 version includes the following fixes and enhancements :
- Based on Debian 10.6
- Addition of the OEM install mode via Calamares
- Addition of Warpinator
- Addition of the zram-tools utility
- Update of Multisystem 1.0451, dated Oct-03-2020, with the Emmabuntüs DE 4 support, and addition of a specific theme for the reuse campaign
- Updates of : HPLip 3.20.6, Firefox ESR 78.3.0, Thunderbird 78.3.1, TurboPrint 2.50-1, VeraCrypt 1.24-Update7
